Welcome to Dowd's Physics Class
A bag of potato chips at the top of Capulin Volcano National Monument in Northeastern New Mexico. The bag has risen about 7000ft in the last two days and is fixing to explode (a bag of Sun Chips with it did.) The air pressure inside the bag is what it was when we bought it, but the outside air pressure has dropped tremendously

I've taught a variety of versions of Physics over the years at different schools, and I'm leaving the course albums and content accesible in case anyone finds them helpful. I'm not currently teaching AP Physics 1 or AP Physics C: Mechanics, either, but I'm leaving those albums on the main page for easier access.

General Physics
This was a good survey course of a large variety of topics, including mechanics, rotational motion, gravitation, electrostatics, DC electric circuits, magnetism, AC electric circuits, waves, sound, and light. It was before I started making a huge amount of videos, but a lot of helpful content and photos of equipment are here.

Honors Physics
This course covers fewer topics than the General Physics class above, but at a higher math level. In particular, two dimensional forces are treated much more in depth. There are many more videos. It does not include rotational motion, anything about waves, and is much more limited in its treatment of AC Circuits.

CP Physics
This course is similar to Honors Physics, but is less mathematically in depth. It does not include two dimensional forces.

Physical Science B
This course is an overview of key ideas of Chemisty and Physics. The set of notes here is not very complete, as the year was interrupted by COVID.
